I've used my design skills and art direction expertise to redefine the way consumers interpret and interact with recognized brands for close to 20 years. Along the way, I've worked with a variety of companies with one goal in mind: producing exquisite designs and campaigns that deliver results.
I began focusing my career on design and art direction after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Early on, I developed my knowledge of print media by working as a pre-press manager for several Houston-area printers. I use this experience to plan smooth design processes that can keep soaring print costs to a minimum.
I spent over eight years as a senior art director at Houston's internationally known Hill Group, and I opened up Patrick Smith Creative, LLC in 2007. My work has been seen in Print magazine and I've won numerous awards.
